Round aspheric lens - seven times magnification

This 7x Mobilux LED magnifier is widely used by professionals as well as those with visual impairments. It has a host of helpful features covering many different usage requirements. It includes a 1¼"/35mm round aspheric lens made from lightweight PXM plastic, coated on both sides to protect it from scratches. The lens is outstanding, providing first-class optical clarity and performance. Text and images are made sharp and clear so smallprint, numbers and images are easier to see. A contrasting two-tone housing includes an off-white upper section around the lens, designed to blend with any background so your magnifying experience is not impeded in any way by peripheral distractions.

White energy-efficient LED plus yellow and orange colour filters

The low-energy SMD LED is estimated by Eschenbach to have a lifespan of 50,000 hours, also helping make batteries last longer. The LED casts homogenous white light across your subject, enhancing contrast between text and background. This has the effect of making letters or words stand out more so they are easier to read. Brightness consistency is aided by Eschenbach's integrated 'step-up' light technology. This keeps illumination at a constant level so your subject is always comfortably lit. If white light is too strong for you, then two additional orange and yellow filters are supplied. Simply snap the filter over the white LED and change the colour temperature to something less intense than white.

Comfortable and well-designed

In the hand, the Mobilux LED is solid and comfortable. Its slim profile features soft radiused edges that feel pleasant and smooth in the palm. A central finger switch slides up or down to activate the light. Additional information on the handle indicates the magnification strength, and recommended working distance, in millimetres, for optimum text or image quality.

Batteries and protective case included

Look after your Mobilux by sliding the soft cover, included, over the lens. It will stop it from accumulating dirt or other substances, as well as protecting from the odd knock or mishap. The Mobilux takes two AA batteries, which are also included, along with instructions and cleaning guide. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the handle. An easy open-closure clip ensures batteries stay in place, but allows anyone with poor hand articulation to gain access. Inside the battery compartment an embossed diagram shows which way to insert the batteries. At the base of the handle there are two hollowed eyelets for a lanyard (not supplied) to be threaded through if required.

Optional Mobase stand accessory

It is possible to convert your Mobilux into a hands-free magnifier with the optional Mobase stand. Made from sturdy black plastic, the Mobase allows you to position the magnifier over any subject in two different usage positions.

Delivery Schedule

Our stock levels are generally excellent which usually enables us to process orders on the day they are received. This means that actual delivery is normally well within our target of 7 days for UK addresses and 21 days for other worldwide addresses. If there is any further delay you will be notified by e-mail or phone. If the delay is unacceptable you can cancel your order without penalty.

UK deliveries include FREE postage and packing. The price you see is the price you pay.

We use various despatch services, including Royal Mail and various courier companies, in accordance with the size, value, weight or urgency of an order.

Non-UK deliveries are generally subject to a delivery charge of £4.95 for goods up to £50, rising approximately £5 per £50 order value thereafter. This threshold may be different for some destinations where the costs of postage are especially high.

All goods are subject to availability but we also reserve the right to refuse to supply you with goods. We will not be liable for any compensation/damages if we do not supply you.

If we cannot supply you with an item we will refund you in full.

Making A Purchase

To purchase any product, simply click on the item that you wish to buy and put it into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept the following forms of payment -

Credit/Debit Card: we accept most major credit and debit cards. Charges are made in UK Pounds Sterling but will appear on your credit card statement in your own currency. All transactions are made in the store using a secure server.

Bank transfer (trade customers only): trade customers can make payment by bank transfer, details of which we will send separately at time of order/invoice.

You will own the goods once we have received payment in full, upon which delivery will be made as per our Delivery Schedule (above).

Tax Charges

All orders include 20% VAT in accordance with current UK fiscal law. You may be liable for any local or importation taxes due on your purchase.

Returns

Our returns policy and refund procedure is outlined below.

If you receive an item that is not required, or if it is damaged, or incorrect in any way, please contact us in the first instance by email or phone. We will advise how and where to return any item, and any other instructions that may be helpful.

We offer a money-back Guarantee under the following circumstances:

Goods Damaged or Faulty: if the goods you receive have been damaged in transit or are found to be faulty we will replace or refund your purchase in full. This includes your costs for returning goods to us (up to a pre-agreed level).

Goods Not Required (UK): We will refund you in full provided that any unwanted goods are returned safely in their original packaging/condition; and that we are notified promptly of your wish to return goods (see below).

Goods Not Required (Worldwide): Same as UK except that we reserve the right to deduct 20% of your total order value for handling/re-stocking.

Note: our Guarantee excludes the cost of returning unwanted goods, returns from you damaged in transit or not received by us. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive goods in satisfactory original condition.

To qualify for our Guarantee you must notify us within 10 days of receiving goods that you wish to return them.

Refunds

Upon safe and satisfactory receipt of returned items, refunds are made back to the card used for the original purchase. These are made online through a secure, third party payment provider. We always aim to issue refunds promptly but actual processing times may vary between different card companies. We have no control over this so please allow 1-3 days for payment to appear back in your account.

You can cancel an order without penalty at any time, but if it has already been despatched, then you will be responsible for its return before we can refund you.
